Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

I believe in creating a calm, safe atmosphere in which to treat patients. We will work together to explore the combination of therapies that is the best fit for you. My needling technique is gentle and effective and I'm a great listener! I am interested in working with acupunture and other therapies to help people with fibromyalglia and chronic fatigue.
I graduated from Southwest Acupunture College with a Master's Degree in Acupunture and Oriental Medicine. I am licensed to practice acupunture in the State of Colorado and Board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I completed my B.A. degree in International Affairs with a Certificate in Business at the University of Colorado At Boulder. I completed a two-year-post-graduate herbal training in Women's Health. Chinese herbs are a powerful and effective addition to an acupuncture treatment, and each formula is tailored to each patient to bring the body back into a healthy balance.
In addition to Chinese Medicine, I am trained in TAT, Tapas Acupuncture Technique, and EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, both of which involve the use of acupressure points to release emotional blockages or physical pain. I completed a month-long intensive training program for Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a variety of techniques used to aid in personal and emotional development.
I am certified in the Mei Zen ® system of Cosmetic acupuncture. I love the detail involved in the facial acupuncture treatments, and the results are really exciting. It's fun for me to help feel as beautiful on the inside as they look on the outside. When I'm not at work, I love to be outside in beautiful Colorado, running, biking, snowboarding, or hiking with my boxer dog, Cofi.
